What a weekend! Limelight Studios was certainly busy this weekend with the auditions and first run through for the ensemble and choir for our forthcoming show at The Maddermarket Theatre, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR® DREAMCOAT – An Amateur Youth Group Production.
Children’s voices from both Limelight Theatre Company and from local schools in and around Norwich, filled the air with songs such as Any Dream Will Do and Go, go, go Joseph. This show is really one to get the feet tapping!
Zelda Rolfe is busy putting together the next steps in this exciting production, so do keep an eye out for more information coming your way. **Please do return your completed application forms if you have yet to do so**.
Tickets will be on sale soon from The Maddermarket Theatre, so make sure you have the dates of the show in your diary. Wednesday 31st May – Saturday 3rd June, 2017.
There is real buzz in the studios after these auditions. Limelight Studios are pleased that so many children will be involved with this production, from age 4 upwards. Drama is a fantastic opportunity to help children develop their creativity. In addition it helps with confidence, improves team-work, helps develop empathy and tolerance. All in all enriching the lives of our children.
I wanted to write today with a very big THANK YOU, to both of you, for Saturday, and indeed the lead-up. Please could you also pass our thanks on to your lovely bar staff who were wonderful.
Everything ran so smoothly and we are so grateful for all your hard work and for hosting us – the venue could not have been better as far as we were all concerned.
