29/09/2017 We are a Children’s University learning destination!

We are pleased to confirm that today we received the news that we are now a Children’s University learning destination!

So what does this mean for our Limelight Theatre Company students?

The CU website states “A Passport To Learning has been created, in which 7 to 14 year old children – and 5 and 6 year olds with grown-ups – collect ‘stamps’ and hours of accredited learning. This contributes to the award of a certificate, encouraging them to access Children’s University provision and a wide range of other worthwhile out-of-school-hours learning opportunities.”

In practical terms this means that your child can apply for a CU Passport to learning and then gain a stamp within this passport for *every hour of drama or singing lessons that Limelight Theatre Company provides. Once you have gained 30 hours of CU learning activities then you will gain your bronze award and be invited to the graduation ceremony.

Will anyone reach their Gold Fellow Award with 1000 hours?!

So what are you waiting for? Apply for your passport today.

I just wanted to say thanks again for continuing drama on line on Saturdays. I am so impressed with Hayley’s delivery of the class. Although she didn’t want to take part last week due to feeling rubbish Amelia especially enjoyed today’s lesson, it has really lifted her mood. Please pass my thanks to Hayley.
