29/06/2017 West End to Broadway with KIDZ Choir
This Saturday sees the Limelight KIDZ Choir taking part in Musicality’s fundraising concert – West End to Broadway.
At 7.30pm the stage will light up at The Norwich Puppet Theatre, with compere David Clayton, Musicality and our very own KIDZ Choir, singing toe tapping songs from many well know musicals for your entertainment.
But the evening has a serious side too, Musicality have organised this concert to help fundraise for the Red Balloon Learner Centre in Norwich. For those of you who may not have heard of Red Balloon – “Norwich opened in 2006 as a full time Centre. In 2009 we moved to our current premises in Earlham Road.
We provide a safe environment for 11-16 year olds who are unable to access mainstream school due to their past experiences in bullying or trauma. We offer a therapeutic and academic curriculum.
As part of the therapeutic curriculum we offer counseling sessions, drama, Asdan, art, Japanese for fun and life skills along with a number of outside activities which are designed to help build up confidence and self-esteem. This includes TITAN, which supports safe independent travelling as a pedestrian or by public transport.” Find out more here
